What's the difference between well pump installation and a well system repair?

Arrowhead can determine which components in your well or system need to be replaced to help get your well and system up and running.

How do I know if my well pump, control box, or pressure system needs to be fixed or replaced?

Signs that your pump or system might be having a problem include low pressure, the pump or pressure tank cycling continuously, sputtering water, air in your water lines, unusual noises, higher electric bills, and sandy or colored water. Arrowhead uses down hole camera inspections and well diagnostics to check the well, downhole pump, drop pipe, pump cable, above-ground electrical components, check valves, well seals, and pressure system components.

Is it a pump problem or a well problem?

Sometimes what looks like a pump failure is actually a declining well. Diagnosing the well is vital to determine the plan of action for getting the well up and running again.

What types of well pumps does Arrowhead install?

Submersible pumps, both electric and solar, which are down hole pumps installed inside the well itself, and above-ground pumps installed at the surface, referred to as booster pumps. Arrowhead has the ability to install and service all aspects of water well systems.

How is a well pump sized?

By well depth, water yield and the demand you'll place on it. An oversized pump can strain a low-yield well, and an undersized one can't keep up with home, ranch or irrigation demands.

Can a well pump run on solar power in West Texas?

Yes. Solar water pump systems are well suited to remote properties across the Big Bend where grid power is hard to reach, as well as to owners wanting a greener, off-grid option. Solar systems are often paired with a storage tank and solar pressure booster pump options. Arrowhead can also engineer a system that runs on both AC and DC power sources to optimize both electrical and solar power.

Does Arrowhead offer emergency well pump service?

Yes. Arrowhead is a turnkey water well company and provides emergency water well service to the region.

Does Arrowhead provide service after the pump is installed?
